#1 Reason Christian Women Struggle with Becoming Wealthy (not what you think)

Do you feel like there’s something buried inside telling you that you SHOULDN’T make “too much” money… and you don’t even know what that number is?

95% of the women I coach, being judged by family and friends for becoming wealthy is the #1 money fear that is keeping them from going all out in their business with the calling from God to impact multitudes and being extravagantly generous.

In this video, I’ll share some common messages we hear about wealth from our parents and the Christian community as a whole.

The real reason these messages are holding you back as a Christian female entrepreneur

I know this will be a lightbulb moment and you will be able to begin to get past this block, even if you don’t know exactly what has been holding you back for decades. You’ll feel so empowered and so much lighter by the end of this video!

I’ll share 4 Biblical principles, the 4 R’s that will keep you from turning into a greedy, self-indulgent jerk who makes money into an idol and doesn’t care about who they exploit to get money for themselves at any cost.  You’ll see how following these 4 R’s with your wealth will bring great glory to God.

For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be rich. Though I never said that out loud.

Are you kidding?

snide comments about rich people

I was taught to never reveal how much money we had, to live as if we didn’t have any money, and to keep all our giving in secret.

Whether your parents got into the car as soon as church was over and started judging others who showed up in a new dress or car, saying they must have done something illegal to get that money.

Or your family thought they were better than those rich people, we’ve all heard snide comments about rich people.

Christian circles aren’t any better.

If you make too much money, you’ll become too worldly

Christians shouldn’t be rich

It’s better to sell all you have and give to the poor.

It’s easier for a camel to enter through the eye of the needle than it is for a rich person to get into heaven.

Or what about this one, if you have too much money you will lose your salvation.

#1 money fear that is keeping them from going all out in their business

95% of the women I coach, being judged by family and friends for becoming wealthy is the #1 money fear that is keeping them from going all out in their business with the calling from God to impact multitudes and being extravagantly generous.

It never made sense to me.

If you’re living paycheck to paycheck, how can you truly be as generous as you desire? You simply don’t have the resources.

Plus you’re constantly worried about having enough money to just survive.

One lady told me:

“I just think I’ve got something buried inside me telling that I SHOULDN’T earn money or make a good living for my family. I really don’t know how to explain it. I mean, it isn’t that I feel I shouldn’t earn money at all, but I mean making “too much” money. And I don’t even know what that number is…”

Another one told me that she doesn’t want to ruin her kids and is worried about what others will say if she spends money on herself.

You don’t want to turn into a greedy, selfish jerk or someone that’s too worldly if you become wealthy

You aren’t like that at all!

Honoring God with your money and your business is your greatest desire, you’ll do anything so that He gets the glory…

But your desire to honor God with your money and business is in direct conflict with the beliefs that you’ll turn into a greedy, selfish jerk if you become wealthy, so you are subconsciously keeping your revenues in the ‘safe zone’ of not too much money.

the real reason you are holding back as a christian female entreperneur

The real reason these messages are holding you back as a Christian female entrepreneur from creating wealth in your business is that you don’t want to be judged harshly by your parents or friends or people at church.

You constantly worry about what they are thinking and desperately want their approval.

You don’t want them to think that you’re better than they are or you must have done something illegal to get the money or that wealth has ruined you.

You don’t want to lose the relationships.

What about all the Bible passages that talk about the wealth of the wicked being transferred to the righteous?

Including Jesus’ parable of the 10 minas in Luke 19, with the one mina that the wicked servant buried being transferred to the one who had engaged in wise business and had doubled the master’s money.

Over the last dozen + years of researching what the Bible has said about money, I see that it’s God’s heart to bless and entrust His people, especially women like you, with great wealth because of the great good you will do to shine His light into the darkness.

God knows Your Heart To bring Him Glory

I’ve put together a list of 13 Bible verses that have helped me understand God’s truth about money, including that it’s ok to become wealthy when you’re walking with God for the purpose of blessing others. If those verses would be helpful, I’ll leave the link down below.

God knows your heart to bring Him glory in all you do in your business and with your money.

He also placed that desire to have a huge impact on multitudes and create a massive legacy that reflects His goodness inside your heart.

Right now, there are massive amounts of money going to perpetuate evil, greed, and oppression in this world and this continues because so many Christian women are struggling with their beliefs about money.

Christian businesswomen who have developed the greatest asset in their business, a Biblical money mindset, are the most generous demographic there is.

I know you all have huge dreams to fully fund the homeless shelter in your town, rescue women and children out of sex trafficking, and make sure no one goes hungry, to name a few.

These all take money.

What if you have been called to be a business owner and have your money beliefs in line with Scripture for this very reason?

following these 4 R’s with your wealth will bring great glory to God

So how do you become wealthy + continue to be godly

Glad you asked!

As you become wealthy by serving others and making their lives better – be intentional about following the 4 R’s.

This will keep you from turning into a greedy, self-indulgent person who has made money into an idol and doesn’t care about who they exploit to get money for themselves at any cost.

  1. Recognize God’s purpose for money + business to partner with Him to make the world a better place
  2. Remember God was the one who gave you the ability to create wealth from Deuteronomy 8:18
  3. Remain humble as you continue to walk with God and wisely steward the resources He has given
  4. Reflect God’s goodness by being extremely generous and giving Him all the glory.

I teach you exactly how to implement these 4 R’s step by step and more inside my Becoming a Legacy Builder program

It’s crucial to know Biblical truth about your value, how you’re already approved and accepted by your Heavenly Father who loves you, as well as Biblical truth about money and business because this will set you free from the fear of being judged by others.

What would it feel like to get past this fear of being judged for becoming wealthy as a Christian woman?

Yes, there will be some people who still judge you, their opinions change every two minutes.

Yes! You can experience the freedom that comes from knowing God’s truth about money and His desire to bless you abundantly because He knows the good you will do with that money for your clients, your family, and your community for generations to come!

This approval will ignite the passion and purpose you desire in your business, equipping you to serve multitudes of grateful clients and create a massive legacy that reflects God’s goodness. This will bring Him incredible glory and honor

Even in spite of those who judge you.

As you apply the 4 R’s to your wealth, another Biblical principle I see is that even your enemies, or in this case, the ones who judge you, will see that the reason for the incredible favor and wealth in your life is because of the generous God you serve and will be drawn to know Him.

When others see how blessed you have been…

  • because of how you serve your clients with excellence,
  • how you wisely manage the financial blessings God has given you
  • and the impact you are having because of your overflowing generosity, they will know this blessing comes directly from the hand of God.

This is the power of applying Biblical truth about money, wealth, and business to your beliefs, as you create the greatest asset in your business, a Biblical money mindset!

I want you to experience the presence of our Creator and the power of His Word, to help you receive the exact powerful money mindset breakthrough strategy you need.
