a couple of proven ways I’ve dealt with the fear of failure

You know that you can’t just ‘get over it’, on your own strength, you’ve tried for decades. You feel terrified and crippled by the fear of failure, having extreme anxiety when you think about trying something new in your business and it not working out.
It’s ok, with the right tools, you CAN get past this and experience freedom, confidence, and joy again.
The fear of failure is crippling your business
You’re doing the bare minimum in your business because if you’re going to fail, you don’t want to do it on a large scale.
Afraid to try anything new, invest in your business, or take risks?
Causing extreme anxiety to overtake your mind.
Constantly feeling like you’re letting everyone else down, your family, your parents, God, your clients, and even yourself which drags your self-worth down into the mud.
Filling your heart with regret because you know you’re not living out your purpose of impact and generosity.
Now you’re doubting God’s calling in your life and all your relationships are suffering.
Plus you’re not serving as many clients as you’d like or at the level of transformation you know you could bring them.
This means you’re not making as much money as you need to bring home and you can’t be generous like you’d like.
The best way to get rid of the fear of failure… it changes everything!
For years I struggled with being terrified of my business.
Terrified that this dream of mine to make a huge impact on multitudes of women wouldn’t work and that I’d be wasting my life, my time, and my money on something that would produce no sustainable fruit.
To make it worse, when I tried a new strategy, had another launch, or convinced my husband that this new coach/program was what was going to make my business take off… the results were much smaller than I had hoped.
It would just reinforce the thought that maybe I wasn’t cut out for this and was a failure.
I don’t want to get to the end of my life and look back with regret at all the time spent doing nothing fruitful.
What changed everything for me and helped me stop fearing failure was going through a season where I absolutely hated what my life and business had turned into.
It was in the middle of this dark time, that the Lord revealed to me just how much He loved me.
I didn’t need to prove anything or succeed at anything to earn His love. No matter how many times I failed, I couldn’t fail so much that I would destroy or change His love for me.
His incredible love for me, and for you my sweet friend, is secure, all based on the redemptive work and love shown when Jesus died on the cross.
1 John 4:16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment because as he is so also we are in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect fear casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
This is one of the verses that has transformed my fears of failing in business and with money into peace and confidence. I put together a simple PDF worksheet of 13 verses that have brought peace with money and sales, I’ll link it below. I know you’ll get a lot out of it.
All at once, my entire perspective about failing in business shifted by just 3% and instead of fear now there was peace. Instead of shame, confidence. Instead of guilt, excitement.
That’s the power of using Scripture to make peace with money and business.
the single greatest asset in business is a Biblical money mindset
I believe the single greatest asset in business is a Biblical money mindset if you want lasting peace with money, complete confidence in your business, and to be equipped to serve multitudes of grateful clients and create a massive legacy that reflects God’s goodness through business.
When you fear failure, you are not fully believing in Jesus’ powerful love for you.
Whether it’s the message you’ve always received from a parent telling you that you’re a failure or you feel overwhelmed by all your mistakes, my prayer is that even today after watching this video, you will experience Jesus’ love for you in a way you’ve never experienced.
It’s only when you know how loved you are, and this love will not change, no matter what you do or how you fail, that you will be able to finally put the fear of failure behind you.
Even more than all the fear and doing it scared, advice, and experiencing God’s love IS what will get you to stop fearing failure and be 100% confident in business.
The two things you must do to set yourself free from this stronghold.
First, you need to believe and accept this incredible love God and Jesus have for you.
That this love is based on God’s character and who He designed you to be, an image bearer of His name.
It’s not based on anything you do or don’t do. It’s not based on if you only succeed and never fail.
One of my pastors always said, “You will never be more loved than you are right now, and there’s nothing that you can do to make God love you even less.”
Over 365 passages in the Bible talk about fear and the common theme is fear not…. But fear God …
Which means be in awe and rejoice at His redemption, provision, forgiveness, and protection for you! If you’re in Jesus and His love, you don’t need to fear that God will punish you.
Second, You need to forgive yourself
You have made mistakes you feel guilt and shame over. We all have.
We’ve all failed at a new business idea, or it’s taken longer than we wanted and invested money that didn’t immediately see a return when our family needed the money too.
Here’s an example of a big investment I made and didn’t get the results I wanted, which made me feel like a big failure
But when Jesus said, “It is finished”, all your failures, the ones you’ve made, the ones you will make, and the ones you’re afraid of making were paid for on your behalf.
You no longer need to suffer to pay for it.
Will you do it?
I want you to take action.
Read this passage from 1 John 4 or any other passage that speaks of God’s love for you, over and over, putting your name into it.

Nourish your faith with the living bread of life, the Word of God, until you believe His love for you.
I do this daily because I constantly need my own reminders.
Next, place your hand on your chest while you’re looking in the mirror.
Say something like this, Charissa, you are already forgiven because of what Jesus did. Now I forgive you for….
Go ahead and list any specifics.
When the enemy tries to remind you of how much you’ve failed, remind him you are LOVED and FORGIVEN.
What your business can look like AFTER you overcome the fear of failure
Here are a few of the benefits you’ll receive.
You gain complete confidence in your business, building it up to serve and impact multitudes of grateful clients.
You’re able to model a healthy, godly relationship with money and what a fruitful business looks like to your children and others around you!
Your business is flourishing which allows you to be able to create a legacy of generosity
Through all of this others are drawn to know the generous God you serve.
This is why it’s so amazing and you’re going to absolutely love having a Biblical money mindset, you’re going to feel so much better!
