1. Incorporate Mindset Shift Work Into An Activity You're Already Doing
First, I believe Scripture is the most powerful tool to quickly shift your money belief, for good, as you understand what the Bible really says about money, wealth and business.
That is why everything I teach is grounded in Scripture.
Because like you, I’ve got a lot going on with business and family and so many other things, I needed to find a way to work on my money mindset at the same time as something else.
An easy way to do this is to find a Biblical passage that addresses a money belief you’ve been struggling with.
Now search on your favorite music platform to find a Scripture song that’s been made about that passage.
Save it to a playlist that can be pulled up at a moment’s notice, anytime or anywhere.

I listen to my power playlist while I am washing dishes or driving, or anytime I start to notice my mindset start to spiral out of control.
Often I’ll blast one particular song on repeat and let the Scripture sink into my mind and heart.
The reason this works so effectively
is because when you’re singing along with Scripture or praising God…
your mind simply cannot focus on the fear or the shame or the guilt at the same time.
Within minutes I have utilized Scripture to shift my money beliefs and I’ve gotten the dishes cleaned.
For a long time, I struggled with knowing my value in the marketplace, undercharging because I didn’t think people wouldn’t pay me. I thought my value came from how much money I brought in, and it was never enough. I was never enough.
When I started finding Scripture songs that I could listen to while doing something else, I found Isaiah 43 (You Are Mine) by Kelly Parks
This was a passage that speaks to these specific beliefs about my value, where my value comes from.
It helps me understand my value comes from God claiming me as His own and redeeming me…
not how much money I bring in.
Now because of the value God has given to me, I can charge higher rates because of the incredible transformation I bring to my clients and I no longer undercharge because of a fear people won’t buy.
When I shared this strategy of coming up with a Biblical mindset power play list with my students, so that you can work on quickly shifting your money mindset anytime and anywhere, they asked me to make the playlist available inside the Becoming a Legacy Builder program, which I gladly did.
#2 Be on the Lookout for Negative Beliefs
The second way to find the time to shift your money mindset in your already busy schedule is to be on the lookout for when a negative belief about money or wealth or business comes up and to ask yourself 3 simple questions.
1. What emotion, feeling or belief is going on right now?
2 Why did I start believing this belief about money?
3. Why is it important to develop a Biblical money mindset and get a breakthrough about this money belief right now?
The answer you give to this last question is so important and will determine if you truly will find the time you need to shift your money beliefs in line with Scripture.
Because when we’re talking about time, it comes down to…
- How many decades have you been struggling to get past these money blocks on your own? .
- How much time do you really have left to fully use your God-given gifts, serve the multitudes you were called to serve, and leave the massive legacy you desire?
- How much regret can you live with if you don’t do this?
Not finding the time to develop a Biblical Money Mindset may already be costing you a great deal.

When Kate came to me and asked for my advice, she shared that someone had offered to buy her business for a large sum of money.
It was more money than she’d ever thought she’d get for her business and she was having a lot of anxiety about it.

What would people think about me for having money and buying expensive things?
I don’t want this wealth to ruin my kids and make them selfish.
When we dug a little deeper
We found her root belief was that using your money on yourself to buy a nice house or car or something like that is unholy and there is more value in giving it to someone else than buying something that would benefit her.
The belief came from her huge heart for those in the world who are barely making enough to survive and feeling guilty that she has so much more than she could need.
I just loved her answer to the third question so much!
Kate and I looked at several Scriptures that addressed the source of her guilt for being successful and her fears that wealth would ruin her kids.
Once you ask yourself the 3 questions...
Once you ask yourself these three questions (which can be done while you’re walking or cleaning or driving around)
Then pop back up to the 1st strategy and find a Scripture song to play to shift your money belief…
It’s so easy, all you need is a simple 3% shift on each belief and this is a shift that will continue on for the rest of your life!
Both strategy #1 and #2 are easy ways to find time to work on your money mindset since you can do them while you’re doing other things.
No need to find any extra time to do this!
